Description

More than just a Sports drink. This drink mix has been developed for long endurance efforts where only water and Carbohydrates sometimes are not enough. You take energy, Electrolytes and proteins simultaneously in via one Bottle.

Remains drinkable during long races. The combination of various carbohydrate sources ensures a gradual energy supply, while the Electrolytes help replenish losses due to sweating. Especially after walking for several hours or during long climbs, you notice the benefit of a complete liquid Nutritionsource when fixed Nutrition becomes less attractive.

Suitable for ultras, long trail runs, bikepacking, or gravel rides. The SalteThe soup variant offers a savory change and can be drunk both hot and cold, which can be pleasant during cold conditions or when you crave something other than something sweet. Sports nutrition.

Unsure? Choose this drink mix if you want to maximize your efforts during long periods of exertion. Nutrition want to get it through drinking. Do not choose if you mainly do short workouts or prefer energy from gels and solids. Nutrition fetches.

super enthusiastic about Näak Ultra Energy Drink Mix

After testing the Näak Ultra Energy Drink Mix, I am super enthusiastic about it. It really resonates with me. I also no longer drink water during my workouts without Näak Ultra Energy Drink Mix in my water bottles.
I feel like my energy level is staying up well.

Nice sports drink

Nice sports drink, not too sweet and my stomach tolerates it well.

I drink this faster anyway, and therefore more than water.

I drink this faster and therefore more than water, so it helps hydrate me. Because of the sweetness, I only use 1/3 or 1/2 of the contents per 450ml flask.

Salty sports drink

If you can't drink anything sweet anymore, this is perfect! A salty sports drink, lovely for a change. A sort of cold broth, and actually just tasty! And convenient packaging for on the go.

Good choice

For me personally, this one is a lot better than the lime flavor. But tastes differ.
Also good for ultras/long endurance runs

Nice mix! No sweet taste

Nice mix! No sweet taste, but simply drinkable. The color is less attractive, but totally unimportant.

Good flavors

Watermelon and peach are definitely my favorite flavors. Less thick than Maurten, and a flavor on the go is really nice.

Liquid carbs, a useful alternative

I tried several of the Naak products in preparation for a UTMB World Series event, which they sponsor (i.e. you get their products at the aid stations)

I found the drink mixes particularly useful as they allow to keep your CHO intake on point when food or gels are more difficult to consume (e.g. uphill) or simply to alternate from actual foods.

Not my favorite sports drink, but a good one....

If you can live with the fact that the sports drink is relatively thick, making it a bit difficult to drink and having a less pleasant mouthfeel, it is actually a very good sports drink that delivers a lot and is easily absorbed.

Thanks for your review. It is a bit on the thick side, yes. Hopefully, it did its job well otherwise.
