Quiver/pole bag for trail running

A quiver (also known as a pole bag) is a lightweight storage system for trail poles. You usually attach the quiver to the back of your trail vest so that you can quickly stow or retrieve your poles while running.

During trail runs, runners often switch between sections where poles are useful (for example, steep climbs) and sections where they prefer not to use them, such as flat or fast descents. A quiver makes it possible to use your poles to store without stopping, so that your pace is maintained.

Why use a quiver

Many trail runners use a quiver because:

• you you can quickly grab and store sticks

• she stable and without bouncing sit on your back

• keep your hands free during flat sections

• they take up little space and are lightweight

Most quivers are suitable for foldable trail poles and fit many trail vests with special attachment points.

Ideal for mountain trails and ultras

Quivers are primarily used during:

• ultratrails

• mountain races

• technical trails with significant elevation gain

• long trail runs where you regularly use poles
