Description

Point the light where you want. The EDC09's head rotates 102 degrees. With the magnetic base you attach it to metal or stand it upright, so your hands are free when pitching your tent or doing a repair.

Three light colours. Choose between cool white (6500K, up to 1600 lumens), neutral white (4500K) and warm white (3000K). Warm light is easier on your eyes in the tent or in fog. There are four modes per colour plus a warning flash.

Long-lasting light. You charge the built-in 1100 mAh battery via USB-C. On the lowest 1-lumen mode it runs up to 250 hours. On the highest mode you get just over 2 hours and it throws up to 153 metres.

Sturdy and compact. The housing is stainless steel, and it handles rain (IPX6) and a 2-metre drop. At 114 grams it's a handy lamp for trips and at home.

Why Nitecore?

For a short evening run you want a lamp you barely feel, for a night in the mountains you want every bit of light there is. One brand that does both well is handy. That's exactly why we carry Nitecore at trrail.com.

Nitecore makes headlamps from ultralight to very powerful, plus power banks and batteries you take along on the go. Many lamps charge via USB-C and some also run on regular batteries when the battery is empty. So you choose the lamp that suits your runs.

For us, Nitecore is above all a practical choice: plenty of light for little weight, smart battery solutions and a lamp for every distance.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the EDC09 run?

On the lowest mode up to 250 hours, at 50 lumens just over 13 hours and on the highest mode just over 2 hours.

What's the advantage of three light colours?

Cool white gives the most light and range. Warm white is calmer on your eyes and works better in fog, rain or in the tent.

Is the EDC09 waterproof?

It's IPX6: resistant to rain and powerful water jets. It isn't meant to be held underwater.

How do I charge the EDC09?

Via the USB-C port. A light shows when it's charging and when it's full.
