During long trail runs, ultras, marathons, or long bike rides, you can consume the contents gradually without carrying multiple loose gels. The Hydrogel Technology forms a hydrogel in the acidic environment of the stomach that the Carbohydrates enveloped for transport to the intestines.

Handy if you want to plan your fueling in advance. The mix is intended for use with a soft flask and can be combined with Maurten Additions to switch flavors during long efforts.
