Description

Carries like a vest. The Distance 22 has the shoulder straps and chest straps of a trail running vest plus a hip belt. That keeps it stable on your back as you switch between hiking, running and climbing.

Room for a long day. The backpack has a volume of about 22 litres and weighs 412 grams. It loads from the top, and with the side compression straps you cinch the load tight. There's room for a hydration bladder and two bottle holders.

Ready for alpine terrain. On the outside you attach poles or an ice axe. There are also side pockets, a shoulder strap pocket, a stretch pocket, an inner zip pocket and a key clip. The fabric is 100D nylon with UHMWPE ripstop and is water-repellent without PFAS.

A top choice for fast mountain days. If you'd rather wear a vest or carry little, a trail vest is lighter.
