Description

This is a blanket you hope you'll never use. Folded up, it sits in a flat pack that slips easily into your running vest or backpack. You only notice it when you need it, and then you want it to just be there.

It does its job the moment you come to a stop. After a fall, with an injury or when you have to wait for help on a ridge, you cool down fast. Wrap yourself in it with the silver side facing in to hold on to your warmth, or turn it around with the gold side facing in for strong sun and heat.

Torn between this and another emergency blanket? This one is made for the mandatory gear list at trail races. Want more room to crawl in completely? Then go for a larger size or a thermal bag. Once unfolded, it won't go neatly back into the pack, so count on single use.

In short: small, mandatory at many trail races, so always with you.

Waarom Wise?

Frequently asked questions

Which side goes on the inside?

In the cold, the silver side faces in: it holds on to your body heat. In the heat, turn it around so the gold side faces in. It's printed on the pack too.

Does this blanket meet the mandatory gear rules of trail races?

Wise made it to meet the requirements of race regulations. Always check the rules of your own race though, as requirements vary by organiser.

Can I reuse the blanket?

It's meant for single use. Once you've unfolded or used it, replace it before your next race.

How big is the blanket unfolded?

210 x 140 cm. Enough to wrap your upper body and legs while you wait.
