Description

Simple and clear to use. The Silva Field is intended for basic navigation during hiking, scouting, and other outdoor activities. The rubber edge provides extra grip when turning or reading the compass while on the go.

Handy for map navigation. The integrated measurement scales help determine distances on commonly used topographic maps. You will notice this especially when regularly checking your position and direction at intersections, in open terrain, or on longer hiking routes.

A logical choice for recreational use. Choose this compass if you want to learn to navigate or are looking for a reliable basic compass for hikes and outdoor trips. For very accurate heading or intensive professional use, a more comprehensive compass is more suitable.

For basic navigation, this is a practical choice.
