Description

Comfort without restricting your natural running style. The Altra Torin 9 combines a smooth running feel with stable foot strike, while the spacious forefoot gives your toes more freedom of movement. This ensures a relaxed feeling during your daily runs.

Soft where needed, stable where it helps. The updated midsole feels comfortable without becoming overly spongy, keeping the shoe calm and controlled even on longer runs. You notice this especially when you start to fatigue and your technique becomes less precise.

Made for many miles on the road. The wear-resistant outsole offers reliable grip on asphalt, and the breathable upper keeps your feet comfortable during warmer workouts. The improved fit around the heel and midfoot ensures the shoe stays securely in place without restricting the forefoot.

If you are looking for a neutral shoe with plenty of toe room and a zero-drop feel, the Torin 9 is a logical choice. If you are not used to zero drop or prefer a shoe with a higher heel, a traditional model is probably a better choice.

Why Altra?

Altra was one of the first brands we added to our range. Not because it was the easiest choice, but because we believed from the start that trail runners benefit from more choice than just the traditional trail shoe.

With the signature FootShape™ fit, your toes get room to move naturally, while the Zero Drop™ philosophy provides many runners with a different, more natural running experience. That isn't the right choice for everyone, but for the right trail runner, Altra can really make a difference. Meanwhile, Altra is also making shoes with heel drop.

Bee trrail.com That is why we sell Altra not because it is different, but because it simply works better for many runners. Especially if you run long distances, have wide feet, or consciously choose a natural way of running. That is why Altra has had a permanent place in our range from the very beginning.

Frequently asked questions

Zero drop.
