This shoe feels soft, roomy, and protective. The generous Cushioning It absorbs the impact without sitting far off the ground, and the wide forefoot allows your toes to spread naturally. Your foot is positioned neutrally and stably, so you can cover miles in a relaxed manner.

It performs best on wet, cold days with mixed terrain. Think of a rainy long run in the Veluwe, a hike through the Ardennes, or a route that goes from asphalt to forest path and mud. After an hour through puddles and wet grass, you notice the difference: your feet stay dry, whereas in a regular trail shoe they would already be soaked. The sole maintains good grip on wet stones and roots. With a gaiter, sold separately, you also keep sand and pebbles out.

If in doubt, consider the weather and your pace. Due to the waterproof membrane, it is warmer and less breathable, so your feet will heat up faster in the summer. There is no protective plate, so you will feel sharp stones more on very rocky paths. If you mainly walk at a leisurely pace and want dry feet and comfort for long days, this is a pleasant choice.
