Description

Warm ears without a thick beanie.
The Thermonet Headband has a PrimaLoft yarn lining that gives a lot of warmth in a light, breathable fabric. You notice it most in the first kilometres of a cold morning run and on open, windy sections, where your ears would otherwise start to hurt quickly.

Made for high intensity in real cold.
BUFF developed this headband for intense efforts in very cold weather, such as winter trail runs, tempo sessions in frost and outings in the snow. The PrimaLoft fibres wick moisture, so the band is less likely to feel clammy and cold once you start sweating.

Narrow, flat and chafe-free.
The narrow, flat design fits under a helmet or hood and adds almost no bulk. Flat heat-sealed seams prevent irritation on long runs, and the band is partly made from recycled materials.

Not sure?
Choose this band if you quickly overheat under a beanie but still want to protect your ears. In mild temperatures it is too warm, and if the top of your head gets cold easily, a beanie is the better choice.

Why Buff?

During a trail run the weather changes faster than your jacket. Cold wind on the ridge, bright sun on the climb, a chilly start before it gets light. Then you want something small that you can pull up quickly or stash again. That is exactly why we carry Buff at trrail.com.

Buff makes neck warmers, headbands, caps and beanies, as well as socks and gloves. You wear a Buff as a scarf, beanie or headband and it fits in any pocket of your trail vest. Many products are made from recycled material and there is a choice from thin summer models to warm fleece for winter runs.

For us, Buff is above all a smart extra layer: light, versatile and always useful. The brand comes from Igualada in Spain and has existed since 1992, so it knows what runners and hikers need out there.
