Description

Maximum cushioning for long days. The Vista has the highest stack of all Topo trail shoes: a thick ZipFoam midsole with a rocker that lets you roll through smoothly. Especially in the final hours of an ultra or a long mountain outing, you notice that your legs have to absorb fewer impacts.

Grip on rugged terrain. The Vibram Megagrip outsole with 4 mm lugs holds on wet stones, roots, mud and loose ground. The sturdy, tightly woven upper keeps your foot in place, even when the trail gets cambered or messy.

Plenty of room, less speed. The wide, anatomical toe box gives your toes room on long descents, and the gaiter system lets you easily attach a gaiter. For races it feels a bit heavy; if you want more directness, check out the MTN Racer 4.

Who is the Vista for?

How much cushioning does the Vista have?

The most of all Topo trail shoes: 38 mm under the heel and 33 mm under the forefoot, with a 5 mm drop. It weighs about 309 grams in men's US 9.

What is the difference with the MTN Racer 4?

The Vista has more cushioning (38/33 mm versus 33/28 mm) and a rocker for a smooth roll. The MTN Racer 4 is lower, more direct and faster on technical terrain.

How does the Vista fit?

It fits true to size: take your usual running shoe size. The toe box is roomy and the midfoot and heel fit snugly. If you have wide feet, consider half a size up.

Geweldige trailschoen!!

Na verschillende merken geprobeerd te hebben voor mijn Ultra trails, uitgekomen bij Topo. De voordelen voor mij: vibram zool met goed profiel, brede toe box en goede mid/voor demping. Dat laatste is erg fijn bij de lange afstanden 100k+

Zeer fijne schoen!

Zeer fijne schoen! Heel veel grip en veel demping. Meerdere lange afstanden mee gelopen en gaan zeker mee naar de UTVV in Slovenië waar ik de 160km ga lopen.

Goede eerste ervaringen

Ik was op zoek naar een (wandel)schoen met ruime toebox en geen zero drop. Deze vista heeft het allemaal + een super demping. Dat laatste is wel wat onwennig maar op de langere afstanden (+15 km) heb ik duidelijk minder last van mijn hielen. Of het bovenwerk heel blijft gaan we zien; wat dat betreft zijn mij ervaringen met mesh niet zo goed, ik slijt er vrij snel doorheen. Ik ben van plan de bekende slijtplekken preventief te versterken aan de binnenzijde. Waterdicht zijn ze natuurlijk totaal niet. Ik heb geen ervaring met schoenen zonder goretex ( al slijt die membraam ook door en dan is het ook niet waterdicht). Conclusie: draagcomfort is een grote verbetering tov mijn huidige wandelschoenen (meindl journey wide). Of het heel blijft even afwachten.

fijne trailschoen

Geweldige trailschoen die net uit is. Ook door goede hulp van medewerker trrail.com gekozen voor dit nieuwe model. De eerste ervaringen zijn super fijn. Deze schoen heeft veel grip en bovendien ook meer dan gebruikelijke demping, zodat lopen op verharde wegen geen problemen meer veroorzaakt! Een aanrader!!!
