Description

A toe sock with extra cushioning underfoot. The footbed of the Run Mini-Crew Midweight is thicker than on the Lightweight version. On tarmac, every landing feels a little softer.

Made for long distances on hard surfaces. Injinji designed this sock for long runs, road races and high-impact training. You notice the cushioning most in the second half of a long run, when your feet get tired.

Each toe in its own sleeve. Skin doesn't rub on skin, so blisters between your toes get less chance. The mini-crew height covers your ankle and the band around your midfoot keeps the sock in place.

The extra cushioning takes up some room. If you wear snug racing shoes or mostly do short, fast sessions, go for the Lightweight version.

What is the difference between the Midweight and the Lightweight?

The Midweight has extra cushioning in the footbed and is a little thicker. The Lightweight is thinner and feels more direct, but cushions less.

Will this sock fit in my running shoes?

In most running shoes, yes. If your shoe is already snug, the extra thickness can be just too much; go for the Lightweight then.

How do I put on a toe sock easily?

Pull the sock halfway on first, slide each toe into its own sleeve and only then pull it up over your heel. After a few times it becomes second nature. Try them on a short run before you take them on a long one.

How do I wash this sock?

Injinji recommends a delicate cycle in cold water and line drying. That keeps the toe sleeves in shape the longest.

Hele fijne blarenvoorkomers!

Hele fijne sokken en voorkomen daadwerkelijk blaren bij langdurige runs tussen de tenen, zeker bij vochtige omstandigheden. Alleen de duurzaamheid, lees: de taaiheid, mag iets hoger - eerste paar was na een jaar grotendeels op.
