Halfway up a long climb you only notice how much a good pole does: your arms take over part of the work and your legs last longer. That is exactly why we have LEKI at trrail.com.
The German brand from Kirchheim/Teck makes poles for trail running, from aluminium models to light carbon race poles. With the Shark system you click your grip in and out of the strap quickly, handy when you want to eat. Most poles fold down to a packed length that fits in your trail vest, for ultras and mountain trails with plenty of elevation gain.
To us, LEKI is above all a well-thought-out choice: sturdy aluminium or light carbon poles, with a suitable model for every trail runner.
