More room, the same stability. The Genesis 2 Wide is the wide version of the Genesis 2. Your foot gets more room, while the wide base and the support at the sides stay the same.
Lots of control on technical terrain. The lugs grip well on steep climbs and loose descents, and the sturdy Matryx upper keeps your foot in place. That gives confidence on rocks, loose stones and cambered paths.
You notice the room most later in a long run. When your feet swell, the shoe presses less at the sides and you still stay in control on descents. The cushioning is firm rather than soft.
Choose the Wide if the regular Genesis 2 feels too narrow. If you have a narrow or average foot, the regular version fits better.
