Description

Always with you, barely noticeable. These waterproof pants pack down to the size of your palm, so they disappear into your running vest or pack. You only pull them out when a shower catches you on the trail.

Made to move in. The fabric stretches and the articulated knees give you free strides, even on steep climbs and technical descents. You notice it most when, after hours of running in the rain, you still want to move quickly over rocks and roots.

Quick on and off. With the part-elasticated waistband with drawcord and the hook-and-loop and snap ankle closures, you pull them on over trail shoes or hiking boots without taking them off. Reflective details make you more visible at dusk.

Are these pants really waterproof?

Yes. The 2.5-layer Pertex Shield fabric has a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm and the seams are taped. They're made as lightweight protection against unexpected showers, not as heavy pants for days of bad weather.

Can I put them on with my shoes on?

Yes. The lower legs open and close with hook-and-loop and a snap, so you can pull them on over trail shoes or hiking boots.

How do they fit?

Slim, with stretch and articulated knees. At Rab, a 177 cm female model wears a size S and a 188 cm male model wears a size M.

How do I carry them?

The pants have an integrated storage solution, so you can quickly stuff them away in your vest or pack once the shower has passed.
