Lightweight beanies

(9 products)

You don't want cold ears, but you don't want to sweat under a thick beanie either. A lightweight running beanie is thin, stretchy and breathable: it holds just enough warmth for fresh runs and wicks sweat away fast when you pick up the pace.

When do you choose a lightweight beanie?

A lightweight beanie is ideal from around 0 to 10 °C, for tempo runs, intervals and climbs, or if you run warm. Freezing or stopping often? A warm beanie keeps you at a better temperature.

Skull cap or beanie?

  • Skull cap: fits snugly, stays put and fits under a hood, helmet or cap.
  • Lightweight beanie: a slightly looser fit, softer feel and full ear coverage.
  • Merino: breathes well, regulates temperature and resists odour.

Always with you

A lightweight beanie weighs next to nothing and rolls up to the size of a gel. Keep it in your vest for the summit, the descent or a change in the weather. Reflective details help you stay visible in the dark.

Rain on the way?

In wet snow and cold rain, a waterproof beanie is the better choice. Still a bit too warm for a beanie? Go for a headband.
